Here’s a link to a 90 minute panel discussion of free will at the World Science Festival on 5-30-15, featuring Christoph Koch, Tamar Kushnir, Azim Shariff, and our own Al Mele. The sound goes out for a while near the beginning, but otherwise the discussion is free from technical glitches. So, go check it out!
p.s. Per usual, Jerry Coyne has bashed JTF for helping to sponsor this event. But don't bother posting any critical comments on his blog, since he has a habit of not approving them--which is ironic given that he accuses JTF of distorting the facts, having an agenda, etc. At least JTF was interested in funding an open discussion about free will--something you won't find on Coyne's blog (which ends up being an echo chamber of sorts for his converts).
Eddy, I know you don't like my free will gas station. And now you can see it graphically represented about half way through my short presentation after the introductions. Be sure to sit down before you watch -- in case you faint.
